Project Title: Understanding the Career Aspirations of Gen Z Why this project: There is a growing gap between employer work practices and the expectations of Gen Z employees. Many organizations continue to follow traditional work models, while Gen Z looks for flexibility, growth, and alignment with personal values. This project focuses on understanding what Gen Z expects from employers in order to help reduce this gap. Current challenges: Gen Z has different work expectations, making it harder for them to find employers that meet their needs. At the same time, employers face difficulties in attracting, managing, and retaining Gen Z talent because existing policies and work structures often do not align with these expectations. Why you should work on this project: This public domain project uses social data collection methods to study Gen Z career preferences. The findings are translated into clear insights and practical recommendations that can help employers improve work policies and workforce strategies. The project also provides hands-on experience in research and insight presentation.
